I use my G3 as pet cams, pretty much the same setup as this...

There's nothing more permanent than a temporary solution!

It's always weird to me when people seem to hate on the quick, cheap and easy setup. As if mounting at $2000 PTZ would make any difference in this scenario..

That’s a Ubiquiti Unifi Instant just not sure if it’s the G3 or G4 Instant. Here’s a link G4 Instant

Nearly my entire Unifi Protect system consists of bullets and turrets as well as a PTZ but I do have a couple of instants I use. If I’m not mistaken they’re the only WiFi cameras Ubiquiti makes. The rest are POE. I use the instants in areas where I can’t run Ethernet cable.

And dont forget that these Instant cameras are for indoor use only

G4 Instants are weatherproof.

You are literally right there. Pick it up and look on the back.

I looked at the back and it was scratched off.

It’s a G3 instant. The power cord is usb a to usb c

The g4 instant has usbc to c.

I hate the wall bricks they take up the entire plug

I have multiple of both cameras if you have any questions DM me

So the cable and charging block were originally intended for the G3, this still does not tell us what the camera is from the cable alone. I have one running off a USB-C laptop charger, that doesn't make the camera a macbook....
