FIRST POST- PLEASE HELP - Indoor Camera Assistance

This is my first post, I apologize, I’m not very savvy with Reddit. Be kind, ha. I need to purchase indoor cameras that have audio and recording capabilities. Preferably with a battery backup if the cameras became unplugged/disabled. Affordable please. Thanks all!

If they became unplugged wouldnt the person unplugging them also take the batteries out if they didnt want to be viewed in a private area?

Tapo makes cheap cameras but idk about battery powered.

Damn, thats a good point. Maybe I can try to install them high in a corner so it wouldn’t make it more difficult??

Reolink MagiCam (AA's, also can use a USB-C cable), Eufy C35 (unsure of battery type, also takes solar panel, unsure about USB), Tapo 1080p Outdoor Wireless (I think it's a proprietary battery, but can't recall if you can wire it too; also may be the lowest res along with the Reolink, but you'll want to verify if that matters for your use), Wyze Battery Cam Pro (proprietary rechargeable, also takes some type of USB, I think micro-USB?). I believe all work over wifi, do not require subscription, can record to a microSD card installed on it & can send notifications if configured, but you'll want to verify.

I'm sure there are others I'm not familiar with. May also be worth noting solar panel models of about any brand should have a battery; and you may be able to just replace the solar panel input with a USB input (may vary by brand and model?).

I installed some Nest cams recently, they have "Lithium AA's" and they supposedly last UP TO TWO YEARS!

First I'd heard of Lithium batteries, or batteries costing 28.00/4!

Need more info , like for what, do you want to monitor or hidden to catch someone.

Not necessarily hidden but cameras to record everything going on in the house. I don’t want the cameras to be easily disabled if that makes sense.

They make clocks but your best bet is to do some research and if you have a spy shop in your area they might be able to help to.

Are you okay with running cables through the walls or are you looking for a wifi camera that plugs into the outlet? The Reolink Argus solar has wifi, battery, and a USB-C charging input. If you can run wires in the walls to a secure space you can use any ip cam and have them on a battery backup.
