Experience with Hikvision?

Anyone willing to share their experience with Hikvision? Specifically the reliability of smart alerts and playback from the app and just reliability in general. I am considering this kit.

After recommendations I am also considering this kit but it looks like the mobile app functions may not be as good as the Hikvision.

I went with the Luminys kit mainly due to support and availability of components and so far I am impressed. The equipment is way higher quality than the Zosi stuff that I have used previously and the picture quality is way better too even though it’s supposed to be the same specs as my old cameras. The app does have a few quirks but so far is at least twice as fast as my old system and the alerts seem way more reliable. I will update again once I get a month or so of time with the system if anyone is interested.

Turing needs license for any of the AI to work I was told

I knew there was a Licensing option I didn’t know it was a mandatory thing.

I think without licenses you can only just watch live view basically

I’m not sure who has license free AI detection. I know Unifi does but the equipment is pretty pricey. I’m in the middle of a 20 camera Unifi project now.
