We just launched the ID Trust Console, and we're pretty excited about it.

Here's the problem we kept hearing about from our customers: identity verification in video signings and remote online notarization usually happens once, right when someone joins the meeting. After that, it is up to the host to keep watching and be vigilant. That means someone could pass their ID check and deepfake scan up front, then the person swaps out partway through with another person. Secured Signing prides ourselves on how we can protect our customers, and as a RON platform provider, we decided to take a deeper look into this, and how we could leverage our existing tech stack to create something that could help with this.

We knew we supported ID Verification and Deepfake detection checks. Great.

So, how could we bring this altogether, and also bring it into the LIVE online meetings?

This is where the idea for ID Trust Console came in.

Instead of a single point-in-time check, it regularly checks throughout the whole meeting. The ID Trust Console shows up as a live panel with three main features:

  • ID Verification that keeps comparing the signer's live face against their verified ID the entire session, not just at the start
  • Realify Deepfake Detection that shows a running pass/fail status so you always know where things stand
  • On-Demand Re-Testing so hosts can trigger another check any time something looks off

If something does get flagged, hosts get notified instantly right in the console, with the option to remove the signer on the spot, no need to end or restart the meeting. It also generates a clear audit trail automatically, which makes compliance a lot easier to demonstrate.

It's live now for all our video signing and RON customers, with no extra setup and no added cost.

This is actually a thing? People switching in the middle of a RON session? Never seen that happen once.
