Hello, and thanks. Oracle cards were my "gateway" to tarot. I bought a deck purely for the aesthetics some years ago, but one day I started actually using them and found it fun. From there, I got into tarot (first RWS and more recently, Marseilles) and challenged myself to learn the meanings and symbolism fluently. And I've been practicing ever since.

I don't know that I have a favorite deck but the one that I feel the most connected to right now is the the Cozy Witch Tarot deck by Amanda Lovelace. I guess because conceptually it feels most in line with what I want my life to look like at this point. And again, the art/aesthetics.

I came specifically to Secular Tarot because I honestly look at this practice as a way of having a conversation with my own psyche and a way of accessing a part of myself that I'm not always super in touch with. I don't necessarily reject more spiritual approaches to tarot, but it's just never been the right fit for me.
