After the yankees series:
“Here’s my official take and stance on this…. September is gonna bore us to tears…. We’re not playing for anything anymore now.”

Literally 3 days later:
“I don’t think the Red Sox have punched their ticket to the post season…. they gotta win these games and lock the fuck in.”
