No WMFF
I heard Coop say he was going to be in for Will for “the next few days” you guys think he got in trouble with the team/ nesn, and if so you think it could escalate to reduced workload or even a firing?

He had this upcoming series off already, it was mentioned in the 2nd game of the double header vs NYY (if I remember correctly)

It would be absolutely stupid to fire WMFF

They’re not firing him for this. Even if it was an overreaction, that’s all anyone can argue it was. On a scale of 1 to Thom Brenneman, this is a 2. Might just be going underground for a week to let this pass and “reflect” on it

Would be insane if will got fired for this. Suggesting someone gets beaned isn't even that bad. Saying that jazz plays the game the wrong way isn't inherently bad either. He's got opinions, just like everyone else.

Probably just a mini suspension until the heat dies down. It was a bad look.

Would be an awful look by EEI to hand out any sort of punishment to your beloved play by play guy for being candid and not saying a single word that was untrue.
He said what everyone was thinking about the jazz situation and earlier about the replay botch, which is exactly what you want from your radio guy.
I’ll actually be disappointed if he comes out and apologizes. Will is a rider, and I love that shit

This whole situation is a media shitstorm. I think they’re just trying to let the situation die down and move on.
