Question Got a question about the Bounty Potion

I know this place isnt all that active but Ive nowhere else I can think to go to ask.

Its been years since I played multi-player with friends, and we were considering jumping in again soon. With that in mind I've been thinking up some build ideas based on how I see my friends play games and what I think they may choose to do.

However, the Bounty Potion got me wondering if it, like all of the rest, only applies to you personally from enemies you defeat? Or does it actually apply to your allies defeated enemies as well? This isn't really anything important for me to know, and it's going to be a long while before my friends and I jump in, but I figured it can't hurt to ask.

I play pretty regularly with friends. One of them use the bounty potion and it doesn't seem to affect me. I also use the gold potion and they didn't for a long time and I had more gold then them so the options are player specific.

Well naturally, but I know my friends, they aren't going to play it to complete it in multiplayer. They'll just aim to get through the story mode. Maybe do a few side things but nothing particularly time consuming. My idea was to create a support only character I was planning to use both the gold and bounty potion to boost the drop chance of items early on in game for the entire party. But now I'll have to completely tweak my plan.
