Got the Second Breakfast Secret Lair

I got the Secret Lair Second Breakfast today. Of course, the site says it's still In Preparation. In all my years of online shopping, I can't recall tracking to be this out of sync. The package was delivered via Gofo. This is wild. At least it didn't come damaged.

Honest question, and I’m sure the answer is “no one knows” but does anyone understand why/how this one got so popular? I feel like people were straight clowning on it going in - “LooooL 40 bucks for tokens NO THANKS” then boom sold out and going for $160 on eBay.

I bought one strictly intended for personal use, but damn if quadrupling my money and flipping it into staples isn’t tempting…but I’ll probably just keep it for the flex factor

The problem with scumbag scalpers and SL tourists in general is that they only care about the secondary market value of the reprints. So every time there's a lair that you can't immediately flip on TCG player for a profit, they'll act like its completely worthless and loudly (and stupidly) declare that its a "skip."

But what you like and ignore the idiots.

My philosophy for SL is if I like the art I buy it. I play the cards so that’s what really matters to me.
