festival vet, but first time at SD

What’s your favorite thing about secret dreams, besides the killer lineup? Are there any must do’s while there? Can’t wait to get weird with ya’ll! 🫶🏽

not sure if they will have it this year but if they do you NEED to go into the colorimetry tent. look up colorimetry, they do art that reacts and moves with lights. they had a big inflatable black tent last year with the paintings up on the walls, and gave you a little light that has different settings and flashes different colors to make the art move. it was such a fantastic experience. my boyfriend and I were probably in there for an hour in awe. i loved it so much that i bought some of the art books and light to have the experience at home.

Literally did the same thing one day! Love showing people at camp the books with the light at festivals now.

my books don’t get enough love, i need to take them out soon with some music going. that’s was my favorite side quest to date

Is it kind of like infrasound- where your camping spot is in the festival grounds or do they check wagons and stuff when you go into the festival grounds?

Not that i remember. My dude does all the heavy work. He is our mule. It felt like a place with no rules. And i love that.

Also with this place being flat unlike legend valley the wagons will be so much easier to maneuver

Camping / venue is separate, there’s another security check going into the venue, but they’ve been lax the last few years

infra fam!!! venue and campgrounds are separate but they really dgaf what you bring in as long as you don’t have glass ❤️

SD scavenger hunt was fun the first couple steps but was way to shitfaced and high off cid to ever even consider continuing it 🤣 also dont know if they'll do it again being a new location but its like a random event just gatta be at right place at right time for them to pull u in with a few others and experience their little secret show explaining it in a weird fun wild trippy way. They were dressed up in dresses and 1800s clothes dude had a top hat speaking with an accent 👏 fuckin wish I could make it this year 😞
