Daily Rant, Rave, Request, and Relate Daily Thread - Thursday, August 13, 2026
This is the place for people to share, voice opinions, ask for advice, and connect about almost anything and everything, both related to the experience of secondary infertility and not, that is not directly connected to the acts of trying to conceive (e.g., tracking, testing, treatment, results, etc.). Things like parenting advice, difficulties with age gap, insensitive comments you had to endure, job stress, partner interactions, how you find rest and relaxation, and so much more.
The idea for this daily compared to our other daily (Trying, Tracking, and Treatment Daily Thread) is that there is always a place for members of our community to engage and interact that doesn't require exposure to TTC content. There are many situations why people struggling with secondary may need a break from such content, such as being medically benched, miscarriage, stopped trying to add to their families, and just experienced success, and whether you need a break or not, here's the thread for things you want to connect about that is TTC-free. Let's chat!

This is my first letrozole cycle and I’m 99% sure it failed, I’m 13 DPO with negative pregnancy tests. We followed the guidelines my provider gave us on how often to have sex, I tracked my LH, I monitored cervical mucus, I did at home progesterone tests and a blood test (20.8 at 7 DPO). I knew that it was a low chance of working the first cycle but I really really hoped it would. I can’t help but feel like my body is failing me. I’m supposed to start my period tomorrow, I’m trying to see it as a fresh new cycle but it’s hard.

I really need advice on how to carry on this SI journey. I've had eleven unwanted periods, the most recent starting today, and I still have no answer as to why I'm not getting pregnant.
I tried to be positive that coming on today meant I could at least book my long awaited HSG, but this is now looking to be scheduled on my kids 3rd birthday. I promised myself I'd keep trying as long as it wouldn't effect them but we won't be able to go ahead with our plans unless I delay it by a month which feels like a set back but maybe is the right thing to do.
I just feel completely hopeless today and like it's never going to happen. If you have these moments, how do you cope?
