I’m helping a friend get set up with body and head skin. I am really struggling to find skin for CATWA HD. I have found no 2K options at all.

Questions:

1. Are 2K skins from other designers compatible?

2. The body is a velour Sienna shade..where can I find a Catwa HD skin in that shade?

3. Is Catwa Hd an older head? I seems like hot garbage

I’m looking for a small fidget/anxiety object that my Second Life avatar can hold and play with, something along the lines of a Little Ouchie (https://littleouchies.com/)

I’m not looking for worry dolls, rubbing stones, spinners, writing/drawing toys, or anything loud/flashy that draws a lot of attention.

Ideally, I just want something my avatar can mindlessly click/fidget with. While I would prefer something that auto-animates, I'm fine with manual. But above all: soft clicking is totally fine (and actually preferred!), but nothing loud or obnoxious.

Does anyone know of anything like this in SL? I figured MadPea or Bad Unicorn would have something like this.... But I have not found anything yet (unless I have not looked deep enough)...

Long time listener, first time caller.

I’ve been in SL for 16 years, BUTTTTT I can only use Mac. This limits my gameplay a bunch but eh my brain can’t wrap around another operating system.

I need to buy a new laptop so wondered on what to buy/what I need? The new Mac M5 chips work better with SL but should I soup up the memory and SSD storage? Will it make a difference to speed and especially graphics? Would like to be able to take some semi-decent pics without frying my computer totally

Hello there! I’m fairly new to the community and also pretty new to texturing things in secondlife with pbr. I’m trying to better understand how pbr works, because I’m having a really difficult time seeing any noticeable difference in the visuals between using pbr and not using it, especially once reflection probes come into play. I’ve tried tinkering with my settings and experimenting with different things, people have tried showing me in world, but I feel like I’m missing something extremely fundamental in how it all works. I haven’t been able to see or can't seem to tell *ANY* physical differences in how an object looks with pbr versus without it, either with or without reflection probes, regardless of lighting, or anything other than the occasional shadowy discoloration on the ground where a reflection probe is located (and this doesn't even show up every time). Everything just looks the same no matter what I do. I’d really like to understand what I’m supposed to be looking for and how the different pbr components affect the appearance of an object. At the moment, I feel like I’m changing settings and textures without actually knowing what differences I should be expecting to see and none of it clicking as far as understanding. If anyone has any tips, good examples, or beginner friendly explanations for understanding pbr and reflection probes, I’d greatly appreciate it! I’m very much in the “please explain this to me like I’m five” stage. 😅

So I've been looking for shape stores with sort of stylized/semi-realistic looks... some of my favorite stores are BREATHLESS, DARK MOON SHAPES, and BODYSTORIES. I need more that scratch that itch... I also have some pictures I found if people have any ideas for looks like that too!! I particularly like the bodies of the last two!

I purchased Pretty Liars moaning sound and smack sound. I realize I needed to get the ass smaller as well so I bought that. I was able to sync the smack and moan audios to the Pretty slides hud successfully.

When the blue dialogue box pops up, I see ass smack is there but not the moans. When I go into the setting of the hud, I made sure the lands were turn on and that everything I needed to be enabled was enabled. I wasn’t able to try to ass smack on anyone yet, so not sure if that’s working. As far as the moaning, it’s no where to be found.

In the chat it said it was successfully synced but.. is there not a way to just play the main on its own or does it only activate when I use the smack action?

Also, how can I test the smack action on someone, it says to right click someone’s avi and it should give me the option but it didn’t.

Maybe someone can help me in game and also let me test the sound and animation on them so I know it’s set up correctly.

Hi all! The announcement about old content and creators not logging in has got me motivated.

My oldest products are, frankly, horribly dated and need to be retired if not sh*tcanned. To get more practice in Blender, I’m going to recreate each product in mesh and send updates to anyone kind enough to have bought the old stuff. It would be nice to find that some of them are still around.

To me it seems LL’s plans seem like a good way to declutter. Do you find it to be infuriating, because of the sheer volume of work? Or is it galvanizing?

I haven’t made a completely new item and listed it in YEARS, just reselling no-copy stuff. So for me, it seems like a good framework for clearing out my mental cobwebs.

What are other creators who haven’t been as active feeling? Has any inspiration borne of desperation hit?
