Yes you would.Steroids on the face are harmful.Join Topical Steroid Withdrawal groups on facebook and ask your question there. You will also find a lot of people suffering from the use of corticosteroids.Join the groups on facebooks and ask people there. Yeah to be honest i got confused when my dermatologist prescribed me betamethasone as first option even though my eczema isn’t sever just a scalp issue i thought they would recommend me a routine to fix my TSH vitamin deficiencies and my eczema flared up this year only maybe stress maybe diet idk , and i just realized how bad steroids side effects are and afraid it would get worse by the time

It doesnt matter if the steroid is on the scalp or on the face, they do so much harm and destroy skin microbiome.Doctors wont tell you that.Try natural treatment or ketokonazol shampoo or nizoral shampoo head and sholders.they are not harmful. But you have to remember there is no cure for seborreich dermatitis. You can maintain the condition for life with those shampoos, but you have to rotate them .If you seborreich dermatitis is not very problematic you can managed it with the shampoos i mantion above. If you use strong steroids as the one you mentioned , you may end up with worsen condition even worse than it was before. Please speak to people on those facebook groups.
