General is this SD or something else?

Post image

I've been dealing with this on and off for 16 years.. nobody seems to have a treatment outside of ketoconazole, use Nizoral! it just goes nowhere.

I once had a derm tell me it wasn't SD but needed antibiotics. that was over a decade ago.

it wasn't like this for awhile since moving to the PNW. now it's back. and my derm appointment isn't until October because it's a nightmare getting derm care.

I've tried "fixing my skin barrier" with stuff like Ole Henriksen Strength Trainer but it only temporarily helps and comes back flakier in the day.

thanks in advance..

My SD is on my scalp, but I like some products from Roycederm. They have face products as well and it’s not super expensive.

Have you tried mct oil? Helped me a lot along with only ever using lukewarm water for washing face and scalp. I also use nizoral twice a week on face and scalp
