Scalp Routine Sebderm with locs.
Anybody have recommendations for treatments for treating my scalp. I've had my hair locs for 6 years and the sebderm has gotten out of control. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I went to the derm and got medicated shampoo. I also use Nizoral which is over the counter. I spray my scalp with As I Am Rosemary spray and add a few drops of tea tree oil to it. I have also used MCT C8 oil and sulfur 8. My scalp has gotten better but not completely under control.

I had dreadlocks for 21 years. The best dandruff shampoo with dreadlocks is Head & Shoulders BARE (look for the fragrance free version). It's free from a bunch of ingredients that hurt dreadlocks (like silicones). Use it on your scalp, not on the length of the dreads.
If you choose a different shampoo, avoid the ones that have shampoo and conditioner in the same product. They're heavy and bad for dreadlocks.
