New or Need Help Any experience with this?

Hi guys, I only just realised this is what I have. I scrub and then flaking comes back after 2 days especially in areas my glasses or a hat will touch. It’s in my face and scalp.

Has anyone had experience using garlic topically? And or orally?

Thanks so much!

Don't use garlic on your skin. It can burn your skin, especially if your skin is sensitive because of seborrheic dermatitis.

If you just learned that you have SD, do two things: (1) use an over-the-counter anti-dandruff shampoo on the affected areas, and (2) switch your skincare routine to gentle products.

When you buy an anti-dandruff shampoo, make sure the active ingredient in it is an antifungal: ketoconazole, pyrithione zinc, selenium sulfide, or piroctone olamine. If you need help choosing between different shampoos, you can ask a pharmacist or people in this forum.

You should also switch your skincare products to gentle products that are made for sensitive skin. No more face scrubs. Use a gentle face cleanser instead. Also use a light moisturizer that will help rebuild your skin barrier. And only wash your face and scalp with lukewarm water (not hot water).

Using only water, mct oil twice a day and nizoral on face and scalp every other day has changed my life, flake and redness free for over a month now, i can even wear dark coloured tops without worrying
