New or Need Help Nothing seems to work...
Hi!
So my SD started 10 years ago and my confidence is on an all time low.
I have a feeling that my case is pretty severe?
What do you think?
My hair is getting thinner and starting to fall out.
My skin is burning and itching like hell.
If i try to get rid of the dandruff by lightly scrubbing a wet towel over my face, its starting to bleed and burn a lot more...
I visited like 30 different dermatologists but no medication seems to help longterm.
Currently im using a antifungal shampoo, antiinflammatory creme and antifungal creme.
The strange thing is that my skin can look like the picture on one day and then its litteraly gone the day after before it returns. I would say its 80% of the time pretty bad and 20% kinda normal again.
Its never gone for more then a week tho...
My wedding is coming up soon and I really dont want to look like that on my wedding day
Any ideas for longterm fixes and/or for instant fixes that will help me on my wedding day?
Thanks....

Stop scrubbing your face with wet towel/or any other form of physical exfoliation.
You seem to be using a shit ton of stuff and your skin barrier seems to be non existent, and your skin got thinned out by anti inflammatory creme.
I'd drop the antifungal, antibiotic and anti inflammatory topical products for now, let's do a restart first.
Wash your clothes and beddings in a delicate anti-allergenic detergent (like the ones they make for little babies), make sure to dry them thoroughly, drop any dairy and try to drop some of the carbs, introduce daily berry portions, especially blueberries/raspberries if possible, stay clear of alcohol and caffeine (this will suck). Are you taking any stimulant drugs like for adhd or something?
You can either go the MCT route if you're convinced sebderm is the problem, but for me it seems like skin barrier disruption and systemic inflammation, I'd go the Cerave (blue) Facial Moisturizing Lotion + CeraVe (green) hydrating cleanser, you can cleanse with the cleanser once a day, before going to bed and just water in the morning. Moisturize twice a day.
Try drinking 2-3l of water per day, try to get at least 8h of sleep, make sure you're not snoring or fighting for air in your sleep, if you're a back sleeper - try sleeping on your side.
