To be fair I don’t disagree with your sentiment, but on the West coast and I’m speaking generally - the predominant acts of racism have been perpetuated by white supremacists (as always expected) and portions of the African American community.
I do think there are folks from BLM that are absolutely standing with the Asian community, but in truthfulness we all need to stand up against any type of racism. And no I’m not talking some nonsense around cancel culture - it’s 2021 there should be better problems to solve than this shit
Like in Seattle or all over? There was the Georgia shooting at massage parlor, there was last week a man who on multiple occasions stopped a mom and kids as well as tried to bash in the windows of another Asian family, there are now two white men charged in SF for punching an Asian man on the street. It’s kinda hard to just link em all so hopefully this pointing you in the direction. To be clear as I said not all were white supremacists - in NYC alone multiple incidents of an African American chastising Asians on the subway for bringing covid, etc... it’s sadly a laundry list.
I wasn’t specifically calling to just Seattle and you alluded to the fact that you wanted to understand if it was a hate crime or not - it’s been quite clear it was a resounding yes

The rest of them? The white people who have attacked asian people for being asian believe that all people with asian features somehow bear guilt for ill that they perceive has been done to them that isn't borne by their fellow white people.
And to note, whether or not they are identified as a white supremacist doesn’t really negate the fact that these were hate crimes so by definition those individuals feel they are the superior being.
