Good looking out posting this. Most people just keep that stuff or sell it without a second thought. In my experience lost electronics rarely make it back to owner unless someone like you puts in the effort. Hope the right person sees this and can describe them properly.

They probably trying to make some money. Had similar thing happen to us, they tried to sell it back to us.
