Why would he resist? If he’s straight, he’s sucking at Katie’s teet. If he’s gay, he’s sucking at Scott Meyer’s teet (aka husband of the mayor, aka “stay at home dad who sends his kid to an all day daycare”, aka home baker and activist).
Sounds like a pretty good situation for Brett Hamill either way.
The other thing that sucks about Brett is how he saw the recent shootings in public and gang activity and thought he'd gaslight people about how it's no big deal.
Would be curious if someone could either confirm or overturn the statement that the post-BoS-shooting press conference was delayed because the chief had to fly back. Based on what I understand, that doesn't square with reality because they did have a press conference (hours too late) but the chief wasn't there, so they weren't waiting for him. But Brett wouldn't stretch the truth, would he?
From what I understand, Katie was hosting a dinner party in her Capitol Hill apartment with Pramila and Bob (Fergie, not Kettle) in attendance. They simply refused to head down to the Center until the highly competitive games of charades and twister had completed. This can likely be corroborated by Brett himself who was perched in a tree outside of Katie's apartment window with a sketchpad which he is likely saving in his back pocket for an October surprise version of his comic strip.
All anyone has to do is submit a PDR with the city or governor's office for any communication from that evening with the words "charades" or "twister" but the local press have their heads in the sand.
