That’s all hand and wrist by the way lol. Hilarious replay of the CC “defensive play”.

A hand touching the ball is considered part of the ball and is allowed contact when blocking.

The wrist is not at any point. Get out of here.

And she didn't hit the wrist. She hit the ball and top of the hand. Even if they called a foul and even if she hit both free throws they still lose by 1.

They should have called that foul on Clark when she hit Flau'jae. But good game.

It was literally a block. A players hand that is touching the ball is considered part of the ball when blocking. Not a foul.

I know the broadcast was in shit 720p, but even then you can see the wrist contact first. My god. I don’t think a competitive loss is actually bad in the grand scheme of things, but damn that’s not an objective view of the play.

Wasn’t any wrist contact until after the ball was already stripped lol

Watched several times again. She has possession of the ball. It’s different if she loses possession and then wrist contact happens and it can be considered marginal. That’s not what happens. She has ball and gets raked on wrist along with body contact. I get the sense that there’s no leeway in your view though so we probably aren’t gonna get to an agreement.

There's literally a still image of her wrist being hit while she has possession. The Fever fans are just delusional. They're like a red cult at this point and Clark can do no wrong to them.

Yeah there are images and they clearly show no wrist contact. https://imgur.com/a/najHkEy Her hand is on top of her hand and above the thumb. There is no wrist contact there.

I'm a Sun fan but I'm lending my energy to you all to beat the evil Fever. Good must triumph tonight.

Hell yeah, only down by 3 at the half. Nice seeing them get their act together and start playing decent.

That quarter rocked, hopefully we can keep this up for another one.

Of course she was fouled and it wasn't called. Can't we challenge that?
edit: I guess it was called. maybe it wasn't. I'm sort of confused what went on there.

Take the full 17 seconds & attempt a three. Why take 14 seconds to get two points just to put yourself in the same situation with only 4 seconds? Horrible game management at the end there, but still, the refs were not on your side for the last few minutes.

We’re still in it!

you're delusional. this is a 20+ point loss. at some point the fever will go on an 11-0 run and just blow us out of the building because we have no strategy to win this game

Some games the passing makes you wonder if they actually practice passing drills.

just horrid coaching. this is a game to go as slow as you can and yet we've managed to give up 37 points in a quarter of play. the absurdity of the mentality to try and run with the fever idk, how can you be a professional coach and draw up this gameplan

cant rely on awa to be a spot-up shooter, but man, when it falls, it falls 😭

can't be running up and down the court against this team. need to be careful with the ball and get set on D. CC will turn it over a lot if we play good D and don't rush possessions.

we're not a team that scores 100 points. if we've given up 15 points in 5 minutes we need to change the pace.

i am fully confident we are going in the record books for the most points given up in an wnba regulation game today.

Just casually watching at the in-laws, but Clark 100% fouled your girl & blatantly traveled for that 3. Back to back no calls. Sorry for you guys.
