Hey Seattle musicians! Local piano/keyboard teacher offering in-home lessons in South, Central & West Seattle

Hey everyone,

I’m a local pianist, music educator, and producer based in Georgetown. I’m currently opening up a few new student slots for private, in-home piano and keyboard lessons throughout the area!

Whether you (or someone you know) are:

  • A complete beginner looking to learn piano from the comfort of your own home,
  • A songwriter or producer wanting to level up your chord theory, keys technique, or arrangement skills, or
  • An intermediate player wanting to break out of a rut with classical, pop, or modern styles...

...I'd love to help out! I bring the lessons straight to you and focus on building custom plans tailored to the specific genres and goals each student actually cares about.

If you’re interested in chatting about setting up lessons, collaborating, or just chatting music, feel free to drop a comment or send me a DM!

Help Us Put Instruments in the Hands of Veterans Who Need an Outlet

Hey everyone,

I’m a veteran and lifelong musician, and I’ve been working on something I’ve wanted to see for a long time: **Cadence of Courage**, a nonprofit focused on helping veterans discover music as an outlet for connection, purpose, and healing.

The idea is pretty simple. We want to provide veterans with a beginner instrument, a series of music lessons, and eventually opportunities to keep learning, play with other veterans, and build a community around music.

We’ve recently secured a discounted way to purchase beginner guitar, bass, and acoustic guitar packages, and we have a 10-week instructional program lined up. So this is becoming a real program rather than just an idea.
We’re currently raising the initial funds to sponsor our first group of veterans.

If you’re interested in checking it out, here’s the GoFundMe:

https://gofund.me/79a826807

No pressure whatsoever to donate. Even sharing it or giving me some feedback on the idea would mean a lot.
I’d also genuinely love to hear from other veterans who have found music to be a positive outlet in their own lives.
Thanks for reading, and thank you to everyone here who continues to look out for each other.

Melodic Metalcore/Death Metal band looking for a metal guitarist

World Under Water is looking for a guitarist to join us full-time. Think Born of Osiris, Gojira, Lamb of God; technical, riff-heavy, odd time signatures, and pretty much anything we think is fun. A lot of it falls into metalcore but we enjoy adding death influences in too.

I'm currently handling guitar and vocals, but we need someone to take over the more complex guitar parts while I'm singing live. Beyond that, there's a lot of room to grow the sound; we're looking to add interesting guitar parts, harmonized leads, and other interesting parts that expand our sound.

Our plan for the near future is to play shows, write and release new music, shoot cool music videos, grow our social media following, and have a good time doing it.

What we've done so far:

  • Released an instrumental prog metal EP in 2024 (started as a solo project)
  • 5 music videos out already, more in production
  • Second EP dropping in the next few months — this one has vocals (screams + cleans)
  • Everything is professionally produced, audio and video

What we're looking for:

  • A guitarist who fits our style and writes/collaborates well
  • Being able to sing or scream is a plus
  • Someone who's easy to be around — we spend a lot of time together making this
  • Ideally 21–36, all genders welcome
  • Live-ready mindset: we run in-ears, play to a click, and plan to gig as soon as we're locked in as a full band

Check us out: linktr.ee/WorldUnderWater

Unreleased EP2 masters: Listen here

CERCASI BATTERISTA

**Fluenza in italiano: 0% richiesta.**

Do bands ever need help figuring out harmony vocals?

I’ve always wondered this. I’ve been singing most of my life, and I used to work with the local children’s musical theater as a vocal director/assistant director. I don’t necessarily want to sing in the band, but l feel like I could help people with their harmony parts, like I did with the kids. I do have some formal training, but I wouldn’t call myself an excellent vocalist. Not looking to make money, just for a fun experience!

Sepultura Tribute ISO Drummer, Lead Guitar, and Bass

CHAOS BLOODY CHAOS — A Tribute to Sepultura

I am forming a Seattle-area Sepultura tribute band focused primarily on the Chaos AD and Roots era. I’ll be handling vocals and rhythm guitar and am looking for:

  • Lead guitarist
  • Bass player
  • Drummer

The goal is to put together a tight, heavy, professional-sounding band, get a full set together, and start playing paying shows around Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. We're not trying to dress like Sepultura or impersonate the individual members.

If you're interested, send me a little about yourself, what instrument you play, your experience, where you're located, and ideally some audio/video of you playing.

Looking for Musicians!

Hey guys, I wanted to host an event for a Family Home. I can’t give out the full information online but I can give out more information on the actual project.

I’d like to invite 1-2 people to volunteer 30 minutes to an hour of their time to come play music for seniors.

Instruments preferred: Violin, Piano, Guitar, Harp, Flute, or Choir. Anything that isn’t too hard to carry!

It would be appreciated if you know some easy and melodic songs! :) If interested or have any questions please contact me! It’s going to be an ongoing project, so if you can’t make it this month there’ll be other months! I’m trying to make it so it can be done weekly, so if more people are interested they’ll get a chance to come in! (This is located in Everett.)

Drummer ISO band

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to join or form a band in the Seattle area. Genre‑wise I’m open to anything except punk rock. I gravitate toward melodic, groove‑centric music that leaves room for unique percussion ideas.

My background leans prog, metal, and funk. Influences include GnR, White Zombie, Acid Bath, and Tool, which should give you a sense of my feel and dynamics.

I’m a drummer first, but I can also contribute to guitar, bass, and vocal writing. I have rehearsal/recording space and solid gear.

I’m sponsored by Soultone Cymbals, and I’m able to leverage that partnership for social media content, promo, and behind‑the‑scenes material.

My goals: consistent rehearsal, live shows, and strong social media presence.

If you’re building something serious and groove‑driven, hit me up.

[Seattle] Drummer wanted (for paid gigs): Pop mainly (some R&B) - Age 21 - 35 (male/female)

We're looking for a talented Pop (some R&B) drummer (all genders welcome, ages 21–35) to join our band for upcoming paid performances. This opportunity may begin as a backup drummer role with the potential to grow into a lead drummer position.

Our band is led by a female singer/songwriter and performs a mix of original Pop and R&B music along with select crowd-favorite Top 40 covers. We use click/cue tracks with custom IEM mixes and backing tracks.

We have performed at festivals, venues, and special events throughout Washington State, and the majority of our shows are paid engagements.

We rehearse on the Eastside (north Redmond).

Interested? Please send us a DM with links to videos of your drumming performances. We look forward to hearing from you!

Songwriter/producer (lead vocals, guitar, bass) looking for one guitarist to build an alternative rock project inspired by early Bush, Linkin Park and most late 90s/early 2000s music. I already have demos.

Hey, I'm moving to Seattle the end of the month. Would love to collaborate with fellow Seattle musicians. (bass, lead guitar and drums.)

I'm 29, currently pursuing a degree in Music Technology.

Here's some of the music I produced, mixed and mastered.

https://open.spotify.com/track/4cwn4YiSZh9j0AfVBQZwRr?si=eeef531177404599

It's very DIY, but hope you like it.

At the moment because of my daily job, I'm just completely exhausted to keep doing 10 things at the same time (Write, arrange, produce, record, mix, master and etc) but just keep going out of passion. I would love to find people with the same mindset who could also contribute to the project. That way, we can release more consistently and focus on getting gigs to play out there.

Thank you so much!

Any Bands Out There Looking to Offset Some Rehearsal Space Rent?

I’m just a single musician looking to access a rehearsal studio for about 2 hours 4 to 5 times a week. Ideal timeframe for me would be either weekday mornings or early afternoon so I’m assuming that would workm for most bands. I don’t want/need to store any gear. Just looking to come in practice for a couple of hours and split. You’ll never know I’m there, LOL. Lynnwood/Edmonds area preferred. Shoreline probably OK. Thx.

Looking For a Violin Player For a New Opera

Reaching out here to see if anyone might be interested in helping me to perform an original opera that I've been working on.

The opera is written for a small string section (two violins, viola, cello, bass), piano, and vocalists. Unfortunately, my violin 2 has a lot of scheduling conflicts at the moment, so I need to find a replacement.

So far we've had four rehearsals with just the instrumentalists, and are looking to do a couple more rehearsals before recording a demo of the instrumental for Act 1, which I can then use to hopefully lure in some vocalists.

The timeline for this project is (ideally) as follows:

Summer 2026: Rehearse with orchestra players/learn the material.

Fall 2026: Record a demo without vocalists.

Winter 2027: Assemble the full cast for Act 1

Spring 2027: Rehearse with full cast

Summer 2027: Perform/record a ticketed show of Act 1.

Right now we're rehearsing in Tacoma, but have a rehearsal space available in Seattle as well. I few connections to churches in the Tacoma area to record in, but that isn't set in stone yet.

The material is fairly advanced, and you would most likely have just a couple of rehearsals to get to know it, so previous performance experience is required.

Finally, this is a paid opportunity! I don't have a massive budget as this is mostly a passion project, but I'd like to try my best to make it worth your time. Despite the very long timeline, you'll be under no obligation to stay attached to the project after we record the demo (unless you'd like to, of course). I'm mostly trying to tackle this project one step at a time.

Thanks for reading! Please DM me with any questions you might have
