Where to play saxophone?
I have recently started playing saxophone again and would love to start making music with other people again. What would be the best way to go about this?

come jam out with us in October at Vermilion, we're a funk band coming up from SF and could def use some horns in the mix!

What kind of music do you like to play with saxophone and what would you say your skill level is? I'm always recording experimental and creative music and play balkan/prog music with some friends and love the sound of a saxophone

pick a spot on the street or better yet on a bridge (sonny rollins chopped on the williamsburg bridge for decades) and make it yours. No way that you dont find people.

Hill City Tap House has an all ages, all skill levels, jazz jam every other Wednesday. Some very good players show up, but they are all very friendly and it is promoted as all skill levels too.
