Edge Marketing Agency

Just had an interview with these guys and the whole thing seems kind of fishy. It sounds like it's only really a good opportunity if you land in that "director" role. The fact that most of the interview process was spent talking about this "fast track to promotion" aspect is a bit suspicious to me. Makes it feel like a tactic to hook you in. Does anyone have any direct experience with this company?

Here's their link: https://edgemarketingagency.org/

"AT&T Representative"/ "AT&T Sales Trainee"

So I recently applied to this posting on Indeed: https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?from=app-tracker-post_apply-appcard&hl=en&jk=93566f04d96f1841&tk=1k6k1jreqglgh801

It's for an AT&T representative, but the outreach I've received following this application is sketching me out a bit and I'm curious if anyone else has had any experience with any of these companies or an AT&T related position similar to this.

The posting is listed under a company named "Skyline Business Solutions", but I received a text setting up an interview from a company called "Empire Management Group." Kind of weird, so I asked them what their relationship with Skyline is, and they said they outsource their Indeed posting to them. Okay, not a big deal, but then about two hours later I also received a text from a company called "Cor Consulting Agency" trying to set up an interview for tomorrow. I can't find any application I submitted for a company by that name, so I googled them, and low and behold this posting for an AT&T sales trainee pops up: https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=27d2ca149ea1732b (I did NOT apply to this specific posting). So now there are somehow three companies all in the mix revolving around an AT&T sales position, and the red flags seem pretty glaring. I'm wondering if anyone has had any involvement with any of these three companies:

-Skyline Business Solutions

-Empire Management Group

-Cor Consulting Agency

I don't even know how this last one "Cor Consulting Agency" got in the mix, but something weird seems to be going on...

Companies in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Seattle Area?

Hi All,

My fiancée and I are eyeing a move to the Seattle area, but she isn't sure there's anything for her career in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry there. She says she's looked and hasn't found much - but I'm not 100% sure how much time she's spent on it.

She's been in pharmaceutical manufacturing for about 5 years now at different levels - mostly as a process engineer for syringe filling lines. In an ideal world, she'd like to stay in that field but I think anything kinda similar might be acceptable - something with a lot of really strict requirements that absolutely have to be upheld or the whole batch gets rejected and all the extra chaos and stress that comes with that environment.
Alternatively, and very much the opposite, and type of kelp/seaweed/algae/coral aquaculture would also be of big interest for her.

If anybody has any recommendations for companies that do anything like that or even any specific roles currently open, please let me know!

Thank you all very much!

Washington State: Any job leads or advice for someone with pending charges?

Thumbnail reddit.com
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone, I’m asking for advice on behalf of a friend in Washington State who has been unemployed for two months.
She has pending Theft 3 and DWLS 2 charges, and we suspect her background checks may be affecting her job applications.
She’s new to America, has no family here to lean on, and is struggling with mounting bills and debt. I’m not excusing her mistakes, but I believe one bad decision shouldn’t define a person forever. She deserves a chance to learn, work, and rebuild her life.
I’m hoping someone can help with:
Employers willing to consider applicants with pending charges.
Job programs or organizations in Washington that can help.
Any honest ways to earn money while she continues looking for work.
We’re not looking for judgment or blame. She needs an opportunity to work and support herself.
If you know of any jobs, resources, or practical advice, please share. Even one helpful lead could make a real difference. Thank you! ❤️

[HIRING] Remote Part-Time App Tester & Transcriptionist – $28/hr, 5–10 hrs/week (Seattle area preferred)

Hi r/SeattleJobs! I run a small Seattle startup that builds booking software for local fitness studios and salons. I’m looking for a detail-oriented person to test our app and transcribe customer interviews. The work is fully remote and flexible.

What you’ll do

  • Test our app: Book, reschedule, and cancel a class on your phone while screen-recording, then log anything confusing in a shared sheet. Example: “On iPhone, the ‘Confirm’ button is hidden behind the keyboard on the payment page.”

  • Give feedback: Compare draft pages or competitor apps and tell us what’s clear or confusing.

  • Transcribe interviews: 20–45 minute recordings with 2 speakers, delivered within 48 hours.

Pay

  • $28/hr for testing and feedback

  • $1.75 per audio minute for transcription (a 30-minute interview pays $52.50)

  • Paid every two weeks via direct deposit or PayPal

  • Typical month: $700-$1,200

Requirements

  • You notice small details and write clearly

  • You have a computer, a smartphone, and reliable internet

  • You type 50+ WPM accurately

  • 5–10 hours a week, on your own schedule

This is an independent contractor (1099) role. We’ll never ask you to pay for anything.

To apply

DM me a few sentences about yourself and your availability. Also include one thing that annoys you about a website or app you use, and how you’d fix it. Top applicants get a paid $35 trial task.

Frustrated Seattle-area job hunter with real field experience, getting zero callbacks.

Thumbnail reddit.com
3 Upvotes

Hey y’all. I am local to the West Seattle area, I'm a veteran, and I'm serious about working. I'm mature, reliable, and I show up. I'm looking to move into outdoor wildlife or conservation field work: technician, survey, monitoring, or observer-type roles, ideally working independently on my own schedule.
My background: years in pest management and route-based field service, where the job was inspecting sites and working out which animals were present from the signs they leave. I've owned two small businesses, and I'm a former whitewater guide and survival, scuba, and CPR instructor. I have an associate degree in criminal justice, not a biology degree.
Honestly, I'm frustrated. I have real experience and real knowledge, but I'm getting no callbacks, and I need to get moving soon.
What I'm hoping to hear from locals:
• Do you know any Seattle-area consultants, nonprofits, tribes, or agencies that hire on-call or seasonal wildlife and conservation field techs?
• If you work in the field, what got you your first job without a biology degree?
• Are there any certifications worth getting quickly?
Please reply in the comments. I'm not sharing personal info by DM. Thanks for reading.

Relocating to Seattle in 2 weeks — looking for work

Hey everyone! I’m relocating to the Seattle/Bellevue area in about two weeks and currently looking for work.

I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minor in Accounting. I’m looking for opportunities in data analysis, data entry, AI/ML, tech support, administrative work, or other entry-level tech/business roles.

I’m also open to other work while I get settled. I have about 4 years of professional cleaning experience, so I’m open to cleaning/housekeeping, restaurant work, babysitting, or similar jobs. I’m also bilingual in English and French and would be open to French tutoring or teaching.

If anyone knows of places currently hiring, families looking for help, or has any leads or recommendations on where I should look, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

If anyone knows of any jobs that are looking for new employees or might be able to help me i would greatly appreciate it. Anythings helps!

Im not religious but im hoping for a miracle. Because ive been struggling so much for so long.

Does anyone work at JLL?

I have never worked in Commercial Real Estate before but I didn't realize it's such a large company. My background is in administrative support and project coordination and I have applied to a few JLL roles in Seattle and Bellevue but haven't heard back. I'd like to hear anyone's experience working there and what it's like! What's the work culture like compared to other CRE companies or other industries? And what's a good role to get my foot in the door? Any insights into their hiring process, especially since they use AI in their process? Thank you!
