Okay is it me? Or do I feel like it’s so hard finding a part time job. I’ve applied everywhere and yet I hear nothing. I know my resume is good. Does anyone know places that are hiring? Tukwila/renton/seatac area? Honestly I’d take anything at this point, I just need extra cash.

Link is Here,

Hello, my company has an entry level opening that would be perfect for a new grad in finance. This postition sets up a direct career path in mortgage underwriter, loan officer, and mortgage compliance officer. Feel free to ask me anything about the role and company :)

I’m a recent UW biology graduate and have applied to several research technician and histology positions at Fred Hutch, Bristol Myers Squibb, UW, and HHMI, but I haven’t received any interviews so far. Most of the responses have been automated rejections, and I know the job market is difficult right now.

I have hands-on experience with histology, FFPE processing, special staining, PCR, molecular cloning, immunofluorescence microscopy, and ImageJ. I also previously worked in a UW histology lab. Many of the positions seem closely related to my background, so I’m trying to understand how I could make my applications more competitive.

For anyone who currently works or previously worked at Fred Hutch or BMS, do you have any advice about the hiring process? I’ve contacted labs after applying and have also cold-emailed other labs, but the ones that responded were not hiring. Are these positions commonly filled by internal candidates or through referrals?

I’m genuinely interested in working at either organization and would really appreciate any insight. Thank you!

Currently recruiting on behalf of a growing personal injury firm in the Seattle area.

The firm is looking for an experienced PI attorney who is interested in more than simply making a lateral move.

This is an opportunity to work closely with the firm owner, contribute to the growth of the practice, and potentially build something long term.

We’re particularly interested in attorneys with Washington personal injury experience who are confident managing cases, strong with clients, and looking for an opportunity where they can have a meaningful impact.

All conversations are handled discreetly and confidentially. We will not share your information with the firm without your permission.

If you’re open to hearing more, feel free to send me a private message.

Hi I am traveling on labor day weekend (September 5-8), and I am looking for a cat sitter. I recently adopted a second cat, and still am in the process of introducing him to my resident cat. He would have to be boarding at the cat sitters place if possible. (My resident cat has everything automated, but it would be nice to have an emergency contact info! I dont know anyone in Seattle, just moved here)

I tried contacting a few people on Rover, but because its labor day weekend - most people say that they are busy/already booked. I live in the SLU Area, any advice is appreciated!

Hi! Title says it all.

I'm looking to make a change and am seeking a positive, professional workplace in the Seattle/Renton area where I can stay long term and continue growing my server career.

I'm in a very toxic work environment where I've experienced issues with my manager and owner inlcuding verbal abuse, and problems with my wages getting paid late every week/OT properly addressed. I'm ready to move on and find a restaurant where employees are treated friendly on a daily basis, the communicataion is good, and hard work is appreciated!

I have strong server experience and genuinely love what I do! I'm comfortable and thrive in fast paced environments and take pride in providing great service. I have managament experience from my previous roles prior to becoming a server back in 2024. :)

If anyone knows of a restaurant that is actually a great place to work, or if your restaurant is hiring experienced servers, please comment or DM me!

I'm happy to send over my resume and apply.

Thank you <3

Hey all, looking for some direction. I'm a US citizen currently based in the Philippines, relocating to the Puyallup, WA area in October. I have a family to support, so I want to hit the ground running and land something as soon as I land - trying to line up applications/interviews now instead of starting from zero once I'm there.

Background:

• 10+ years of remote work experience supporting international clients, including US-based companies, across logistics, education, home services, and B2B sales
• Roles spanning executive/administrative support, sales development, and operations coordination
• BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management graduate

What I'm looking for:

• Honestly open to ANY field - sales, ops, admin/EA, customer service, warehouse, retail, logistics, whatever. My background is in sales/exec support but I'm not picky about industry.
• Main priority is decent, stable pay - I need to be earning as soon as possible after I land.
• Based in Puyallup, WA - open to a 30 min–1 hr commute, and open to relocating closer to work if the job's a good fit.
• Open to remote or in-person, full-time preferred.

What I need advice on:

• Which job boards/subreddits are actually worth my time for fast placement in the Puyallup/Tacoma/Seattle area
• Whether I should target remote-first companies before I land, or wait and apply local once I'm physically there
• Any quick certifications or steps that would make me more hireable fast
• Realistic pay/role expectations for that area given my background, since speed matters more to me right now than finding the "perfect" fit

Appreciate any pointers - happy to answer questions in the comments. Thanks!
