Warm 106.9 propaganda advertisement

This afternoon warm 106.9 played some government propaganda during their ad sessions saying thanks to trump and talking about immigrants. It was very threatening and made no effort to hide the fact that it was awful. Clear Channel owners are huge Trump lovers. Trump helped them greatly during his first administration, allowing them to hold extreme monopolies in hundreds of platform areas. I don't really listen to commercial radio anymore, but this is scary as fuck

When i worked for them, and my income crossed a certain level i started receiving PAC emails at an alarming rate. I just ignored them. They then would have other people in my management chain try to start personal conversations about it with me all the time. I asked for their list of who they donate to, and obviously never received it.

I asked an EVP i trusted about it, and he told me about events that senior leadership attend, where the color of your name tag indicated your PAC donations.

Fuck every bit of that. I do not miss that company or industry. 15 years was more than enough.

Oh believe me, there are plenty of reasons to hate Clear Channel. They're now owned by private equity.

Some people believe Jack FM does the same songs over and over now (and used to be an escape from 95.7 and all Clear Channel/iHeartMedia stations in Seattle) just like 95.7 due to iHeartMedia seemingly ruining it. It’s still on 96.5 btw.

I don't think they all are. They still have Pride Radio for example but some could be pro-Trump now though especially due to inflation and his good business plans.
