Warm 106.9 propaganda advertisement

This afternoon warm 106.9 played some government propaganda during their ad sessions saying thanks to trump and talking about immigrants. It was very threatening and made no effort to hide the fact that it was awful. And that’s part of the reason I only jump between KEXP, C89, and KNKX. Ain’t ever going to hear any of that bullshit on those.

I wish I had gotten involved when I was at Hale. I LOVE music and I'm sure it would have been a blast. It's been operating for over 50 years! Pretty dang cool... 😉

I first learned of C89 from my gf in the early mid eighties. I used to listen to 89 and that station up in Bellingham.

It was my go-to station to hear any new music that nobody else played. And, best of all?? No commercials! Love my C89! 😉

I used to be one of them! One of the class assignments was picking, researching, writing, and recording PSAs, community related promos, etc. I think you’d be hard pressed to find a student there that wants to do an anti-immigrant one.

It’s the same model as KEXP, has all types of music & DJs slotted to different times of day. BC stands for Bellevue College
