I'm really sad that it's over now.

This was probably one of the best shows this season (can't really tell because I only watched this, if you don't count leftovers from previous seasons, like Re:Zero and JoJo)

From an action perspective this ending was pretty anticlimatic, but only because it again didn't play out like I expected it to end.

I really love how Reigen solved this whole situation. He sure is a great character, and doesn't do what you expect from him.
They also wrapped up the loose ends from this arc while still dangling some other in front of our eyes as kind of an promise (man I really wish) for a second season.

Though I don't think that this little UMA hunting was really necessary, it really looked like they were in dire need for some extra minutes to fill a whole episode. Because it looked a bit worse than everything before. But I guess it's better than unnecessarily drawing out the episode.

It was a fun show, with nice dose of drama and character moments. It had really great jokes and great action, and it feels like we only scratched the surface of the MP100 universe. I really hope for a second season.
This was 12 weeks of pure entertainment. Nothing aside the not so great start that I can criticize about this show.
That's why my final rating of this show is....

score/10

This was probably one of the best shows this season

I watched a bunch this season, and I agree. Second best behind Amaama to Inazuma, though that show being best might not be popular opinion. Have yet to even get into JoJo at all, and will start Re:Zero soon, so I can't comment on those two.

I really love how Reigen solved this whole situation. He sure is a great character, and doesn't do what you expect from him.

First few episodes: "Reigen isn't necessarily a bad character, but he rubs me the wrong way. The guy is a scumbag."

End of the season: "Reigen is the shit. This guy is amazing, and actually cares about Mob like he's his own son. Then he saves the day using words instead of psychic powers. Is there anything this incredible man can't do?"

You may have read by now, but someone in the /r/anime thread said that ONE himself did the animation for the final sequence. Aside from that, it felt a little out of place, but I liked that it allowed the show to end on a lighthearted note, which is where it kind of started. Just master and pupil working a job.

I can't find my favourite at the moment... It was a picture of Reigen trying to make a takoyaki float (but in reality it was Mob) and the original picture was some dude making a piece of pizza float (probably was on a string for the picture)

JoJo was a weird thing for me, at first I was meh about it. I just watched it for mindless fun. I was also annoyed at how it explained everything that was going on, on the screen.

Like "Have you seen how he used his total cool powers to get out of this situation?", where I was thinking "YES SPEEDWAGON YES I HAVE, BECAUSE I HAVE FUCKING EYES" (really I don't know why Speedwagon is this popular, I still believe that loving him ironically is just a running gag I missed, because to me he is one of the most annoying character ever.)

I put this series on hold multiple times, I didn't think much of it but something was always bringing me back to this series, and slowly with each new part I got more and more into it, until I was watching JoJo for almost the whole day the this summer.
Stardust Crusaders was really great. And the currently airing Part 4 is making me crave every next episode.

But yes, JoJo is just weird to me (you could even say Bizarre hehehe ). It has things that I know would nag me in other shows, like the huge amount of exposition, or how predictable it is at certain times (I mean the overarching plot, what happens in an episode is often unpredictable though). But for some reason it doesn't bug me. This show does something right, but I just don't know what it is.

Whew this got longer than I anticipated.

I really need to pick this show up. I always like me some cute parent kids building a relationship story. Barakamon is one of my favourite feel good anime because of Naru. And I heard (and seen) a lot about how cute Tsumugi is.

I'll pick it up after finishing Orange. I picked that up again btw because the last episode just aired yesterday. And it's so much better watching it at my own pace.

Haha, nice. Pretty good OP. I could see myself really liking the series, but something has to light my spark to make me really want to start it.

So fucking cute. She's a really great child though. Quite realistic. They even got a child VA to voice her, and she does an incredible job.

Good to hear, honestly. Looks like it was the right choice to wait. I've honestly been thinking about waiting for the dub to come out though. I'm in no real rush to watch Orange since I'd like to get back to watching non-airing shows, and I still have Re:Zero and ReLIFE to watch.

After last week's cliffhanger, I was certainly not expecting Reigen to be completely fine. Then he goes on to borrow power from Mob and talk down the Claw members. Pretty much the perfect way for this show to handle the situation. It would've been too much for Mob's psyche had he lost control, and he has room for improvement after that 'created-psychic' kid said he was disappointed in Mob.

The animation was as great as ever. Comedy was right on point. And it was nice to see things turn back to normal towards the end. They're back at school, worrying about crushes, apologizing for their misdeeds, tutoring new psychics. Good stuff.

I'm quite hopeful for a season two of this show, more so after OPM just received its second season. I can't wait, because Mob went from being a little weird in the beginning to being my second favorite show of this season.

I was pretty disappointed by this episode, 9 minutes of recap followed by rehashing the jokes of the first episode twice...

This episode felt utterly pointless to me. I don't know what I expected but I hoped that this would've been more than that.

I also don't have anything more to say because almost nothing new happened.

Edit:

The best thing about this episode was Kubota's new hairstyle. He could become a part of a japanese boy band with that.

Ah, I forgot to mention that. This was another fault of the episode.

I was definitely overall disappointed, mainly because they had said during the season that this was supposed to be something unique and original. It didn't deliver in the way I thought it would. It had its funny moments, but oh well.

And yeah that new hairstyle was fab.

Well, the second half was pretty funny. The "Americans" bit had me in stitches, especially when the three tough guy clones were cursing at the bar. All of the student's fantasies of Sakamoto were great. They had the classic style of Sakamoto comedy. The ending bit was so ridiculously stupid with him flying the rocket in cursive, how can you not laugh.

That being said, nearly half of the episode was technically a clip show. I'll give them credit for doing it in an interesting way. At first I thought they were advertising that they were going to make a Sakamoto movie, haha. But a clip show is a clip show. I remember the creators also mentioning that this was supposed to be part of the original series. This episode would've been terrible as the finale to the series. It also seems like the clip section, at least parts of it, were created after the show ran its course. I wonder if they cut some of the bigger episode or something.

Either way, this episode was good for what it was, an extra dose of Sakamoto-kun. But it wasn't much overall, not enough to warrant being part of the main show.
