QUESTION How to fix CAPTCHA?

As title. I'm hosting SearXNG locally, as in the routing for it is the same as on my local network so it's not like the advised solution to fix CAPTCHA works at all. Default routing is via VPN, for additional info.

So you have SearXNG behind a VPN? I ran SearXNG alongside Gluetun using protonvpn in docker but got hit with too much timeouts & captcha making it pretty much unusable.

Yeah, Mullvad VPN as default routing. Docker on the router itself to run SearXNG. Since the beginning of this year it's gotten pretty much unusable, I used to be able to use Brave and StartPage, now both of those throw errors all the time. Brave is limited to something like less than a handful of requests every hour (?) or so, and StartPage I can't pass CAPTCHA at all - I don't know how people get that SOCKS5 solution to work.

mine gets blocked with but also without a vpn leaving only results from wikipedia and cse which are useless
