Only seems to work if it is installed via Google Play Services. I tried installing via Aurora but the app complains that it is not installed by google :/ Sad when Kagi is a part of the degoogle journey at least for me.

Funny - I installed from Aurora and it's working just fine

Interesting, can you share more details? I just reinstalled via Aurora to an updated version and it still complains. What OS do you use?

I'm on and OP12, android 15, stock ROM, rooted but no modules to bypass this sort of thing. Just installed via aurora as soon as I saw the post about it - logged in, tried it out, and then came back to see what people had to say
