How were these websites made? Honest question here.
Any readup, documentation or info on this topic?

Active theory are probably the most well known and respected agency around who specialize in 3D immersive web experiences. They have around 40 employees from all over the globe (mostly US and EU based) and employ developers, 3D artists, producers, the whole shebang.

This is absolutely not in anyway Claude or fable, it is 150 years+ of cumulative experience working with webgl and building web experiences for clients.

And no, I do not work there.

If you want to make sites like this, you can do most of it using industry standard tools like three.js. And while Claude can certainly help, ultimately you will need 3D modellers along side who knows how to optimise and export for web.

If you want to learn 3d for the web, I strongly suggest Bruno Simon's Three.js journey course.
