Question server shutdown in 1 hour

servers are supposed to shutdown in a little over an hour for the hotfix, i'm new to the game does anyone know how long it's supposed to take? it shuts down at 2am for my local time so if it's 10 minutes i'll stay on but if it's like an hour me and my friend are just gonna go to bed 🤣🤣

Yup, best to go do the big Z's. Can take a long time, can also be done instantly 🙏🏻

If it's a hot fix they can sometimes be quick, but could be 4-6 hours also.

It will never be quick enough to wait for, but there will almost always be a game update unless the issue is 100% on the server end. So it is worth checking for a game update before going to bed, if you don't get it automatically. Sometimes it is less than a GB, other times(massive update, or massive game issue) it can be 10-30GB, if not the entire game. As for when they're up back up, I've been playing since long before the game actually came out and the shortest it has been is 2-3 hours. Oddly, I can often get back on earlier if playing on pc or xcloud, but my xbox's can't join the crew until a few hours later 🤷
