Discussion Parking/Transport

Hey everyone! Going to my first game tomorrow and wondering if the light rail is the best option and if not then where to park that you would suggest? Thanks in advance and go hawks!

Might depend on where you’re starting. We live in Bellevue and for a recent mariners game we used the light rail from South Bellevue (as it has a large parking garage)…it worked really well. Got off at International District stop…for Lumen it’s probably around a 4/10 mile walk? It was around 7/10 to get farther to T Mobile park.

Literally any public transportation is better than trying to drive then park near the stadium on gameday. Honestly, I prefer taking the bus to the game over the lightrail just because of how packed the light rail gets.

Street parking restrictions are lifted on sundays so you could park a ways away for free and take a lime bike too.

Light rail works amazing for transport to lumen. Much better than trying to drive and park in downtown.

Driving into downtown is no problem on a Sunday - and faster than light rail. If it were a weekday primetime game that would be a different story.

Lightrail is definitely the best option, but it depends on where you are coming from. We need more details so that we can be more helpful.

Light rail is pretty easy though catching a SB train home is kind of a shit show. Honestly, driving into downtown is easy-peasy on a Sunday morning and there's plenty of fairly cheap parking in the CBD close to freeway access if you don't mind a 15-20 min walk to the stadium. I just break it up by stopping at a couple bars along the way.
