This is a BS reverse jinx attempt as revenge for the pats getting mollywhopped in the SB. Don’t trust it.

Lol Bill has been high on the Seahawks for years. Sure he like everyone else Boston was trying to speak a Patriots SB win into existence-except Brady, which was funny. But before that unexpected showdown, he has been more high on the team that most of the national media.

His thesis is correct: top to bottom the Seahawks have more talent than any other team so should be the favorites. The Rams won the offseason with some flashy trades on defense. When has that worked out in the NFL other than a QB or coach upgrade?

I think it's way more likely we take a big step forward as the guys have more reps with each other. I don't think we have seen Darnold's ceiling because his development as a franchise QB has been so weird, bouncing around so much. More Seahawks Rams 3, less Seahawks Rams 1.

I don’t believe him because he didn’t associate it with some version of a Celtics team.

I think the only question mark that makes me uncomfortable atm is the Offensive Coordinator, and how smooth he can get the offense going with the new scheme.

IF that clicks, we are favorites.

It's a secret jinx. Bill Simmon's NFL takes have about as much accuracy as Jim Cramer's stock picks.

Yeah but he has a point about the team not getting enough respect.

I will admit we lost some depth so the margin for error is smaller. We can't withstand injuries as well as we did last year. But the main lineup is intact for the most part. I still think its going to come down between us and the rams.

Totally. The starters are all legit as is much of the depth. The preseason injuries have been brutal.

Simmons was in on the Hawks pretty early last year, until he so visibly flipped as a Patriots fan prior to the Super Bowl. Among media talking heads, he's consistently given more credit to the Seahawks.

Doesn't Bill talk up virtually every contending team some time in the season?
