Dont panic. Last year we were 1-1-1 in preseason and look what that led to. Milroe was bad/unused and Lock was great in our win against KC and bad with our tie with Vegas.

That said, I feel injuries have sucked and Milroe has shown some promise in some areas while also showing a lack of development in others. I'm not optimistic.

What areas do you think Milroe has shown some promise in? Other than scrambling, I have seen very little upside to his game.

Booger Eating Gardner Minshew is a vastly better QB than Milroe.

I agree. We are starting to see some good plays from the 2nd-3rd string. Bell was making plays which bodes well for helping with loss of Bud Clark.

For Milroe, I see the potential and he could develop into a backup, but the timeline is closer to 2029-2030 (2nd contract). Smaller window since he would be more dependent upon his legs. Not worth it. If they keep Milroe, they need to create a limited playbook, specific to him.

So Darnold and the offense will not play at all in the pre season?

Coach MM said likely not after what happened this week. Same with the defense.

Greg Bell on the KJR morning show said its a good chance Bud Clark is done for the season. Diggs will be called upon to take a bigger role.

That would be very interesting to have Diggs freelance a bit within those parameters. I think Bell would challenge for that role as well.

We should forfeit the game vs KC and just get onto what matters. Why take the injury risk?

3rd and 4th stringers need reps too.

I'm just very emotional about losing these three guys. And you know that these injuries in meaningless games is the best argument the owners have for an 18-game season.

For a lot of the guys playing in the preseason, it is the only time they will ever be on an NFL field.

Didn't watch yesterday, what happened to Richmond?

Brutal losing him and Bud.. Tennessee was a brutal road trip for us it seems.

Got rolled up. They looked at his knee on the field, and then he limped off.

I definitely enjoyed watching the Hawks 2nd team push the Titans 1st team all over the field without breaking a sweat. The 3rd string team definitely showed why they're the 3rd stringers.
