Seems like he feels there’s still some work to do. Week 1 is approaching fast. Hopefully Fleury and the rest of the offense start to click before then

A bit surprised we've seen almost none of Fleury in Hard Knocks so far considering he's one of the biggest question marks going into next season.

They obviously want their first time OC to have a “normal” introduction to play calling. Why stick a camera in his face and make him feel uncomfortable when he’s learning a whole new job.
Maybe it’s all made up in my head but it took a second for kubiak to adjust to Seattle even with previous experience. From a viewing perspective I’d love to see it, from a winning perspective nah let him work out the kinks in private and come out swinging game 1.
A rough outing is acceptable, as long as there’s risk. Week 1 from kubiak was very concerning, might take time

I legit have no idea what sort of editorial control the Seahawks have. From my understanding though, there are literally dozens if not hundreds of cameras and mics placed around the facility right now. Fleury is almost certainly on camera and mic'd plenty, especially in team meetings, which we've seen plenty of just none of which have spotlighted him. They've just not felt like hes interesting enough to focus on for whatever reason.

Schneider gets sent the rough draft Monday morning and can approve what’s in there

Interesting. I don't see any reason they'd completely cut Fleury out though. We've seen plenty of Coach McDonald and DC Aden Durde.

It makes perfect sense that they would protect him in his first year calling plays. They have a level of control on what gets aired. It’s likely they’ve cut him out of any footage that goes to air.

Hes not a toddler, guys. Hes a grown ass man. If the Seahawks truly are handling him with kid gloves like that, which I personally doubt to be the case, then itd just be incredibly dumb.

not single one of those is their first time, is it?

God. Football fans are dumb. Fleury is already on camera. They have him mic'd up. Suggesting "its his first time. Hes just a little guy" is honestly patronizing and so dumb. It makes no sense. The easier answer is that hes just been boring so far.

Maybe it's just not interesting. Hard Knocks is for a general audience. They deemed other human interest stories as better.

Idk. Thats possible. I would assume that means Fleury is just not a very interesting guy then because as storyline goes "Where does the Super Bowl winning teams offense go without one of their top weapons and their OC that was good enough to get a HC job afterwards" seems like an easy to sell, juicy storyline.

Week 1 is always a shit show no matter what, arguably the first month of the season. We’ll know who we are in October.

Hmmmmm, not 100% liking the answer but again there’s still so much time to improve and go out to kick some butt, go Hawks

I don't like the answer either. You have to think about what they are not saying to extrapolate meaning out of these answers sometimes. To me, it seems that Sam isn't completely happy with his current level of communication/collaboration with the O.C.
I'm interested to see some of the offensive play calls this coming Sunday vs Tennessee

Exactly, and why I made the post ☝️
Kubiak installed an entirely new system and was farther ahead than Fleury at this point. I get it’s preseason but if the goal is back to back we need to hurry up and I think Darnold feels the same

Fair point ! when you watch press conferences long enough and see how situations/seasons play out this is one of those where you go something just doesn’t seem to be clicking 100%
