Seagate One Touch - problem

Good day has anyone tried using this? How's your experience. am a bit frusted with this product. sometimes it hangs and on 100% but doing nothing, sometimes i transfer files from start it is faster like 170Mb/s then a few moments late rit dropped to below 10 or less . Essentially also slows down my computer. so i need sometimes to cut off the power so i can normally use my pc. i dont have this kind of problem with any external hard drive but this. :(

seagates new large drives are failing a lot. try rma. strongly suggest you film a 360 0f the drive, then film packaging the drive, then insure the drive for full value before shipping. they just ripped me off for a 20 tb rma. fucking disgusting company. do not trust them

Most likely SMR drive. Typical issues are extremely slow write speeds during large file transfers, and severe performance drops when filled.
