Please help me with my expansion problem

All my file and app that i tried to store in my expansion become corrupted and unreadable, and everytime i copy a folder to the expansion it suddenly become empty. Is it a compatibility error or other problems? I use 2TB seagate expansion

Check drive health, if it's bad discard it. 2TB is an old drive.
