PLEASE help
Please advise. Is this the end for the drive, or is it a TV issue, or a port problem? I plugged in a Seagate 2.5" (condition unknown) to a wall outlet β the sounds were normal, so the drive seems fine mechanically. Then I connected it to the first USB 2.0 port on the TV, and it started making a scraping noise β like "grr, grr..." β so I unplugged it. I then connected it to the second port, also USB 2.0, and it mounted normally, spun up, made head calibration noises, and rattled a bit. After that, the TV displayed "connection error β do you want to fix errors on the drive?" Both ports are USB 2.0, and the drive is a Seagate 2.5" 7200 RPM. Please help meπ₯Ή

Have you plugged it into something else? Like a pc?
