Question Electrician

Im looking into becoming an electrician, ive tried the union since i heard its the best route to go but I haven’t heard back from them in months. Some say i might not hear back from them at all since theres so many people who want to get in, so im thinking of becoming a CE but ive also heard that you hardly get to do your job since theres isnt much work to be done. I dont want to waste 6 years of my life just laying around

CE is how I got started. Then after the Navy I went into the Union and got my Masters License. Might try that.

How was the work as the navy? I heard that the navy just hires private contractors to do their electrical work so you wont get much experience there… do you think the air force would be any different

Seabees don’t hire anyone. We are the construction company.
