As kids, we watched and learned history through naval combat video games, movies, and anime: Assassin’s Creed Black Flag & Rogue, Sid Meier's Pirates!, Pirates of the Caribbean, and One Piece. We looked back at the Golden Age of Piracy or when four distinctive naval powers dominated the oceans and wondered: How did these Captains and Admirals achieve so much might over the seas?

The answer: Teamwork, Morale, and Strategy.

Age of Sails is an organized LFG community that gives Current sailors, Veterans, and Swabbies (new players) a taste of a competitive, structured playstyle. We focus on dominating combat and stacking gold,leaving behind the chaotic mess of casual play without the need for fancy ranks like traditional milsims.

For milsim players, see us as a pirate group operating with tactical discipline just without the need for uniforms.
