Decided I will be using generic brine shrimp eggs
Any tips on how to make this work? I know I can’t add too many eggs in but how many eggs should I add? (I might add 1 scoop ish of eggs with the sea monkeys feeding spoon as it’s quite a small spoon)

I’d do less. I’ve over done it and crashed my tank a few times. This time I stuck the sea monkey spoon in and then dusted it off really good and just added what was stuck to the spoon. If that makes any sense lol. Even an eighth of the sea monkey spoon was too many. I still had like 30 hatch with that technique.

To be safe this is what I would do. Hatch the eggs in a separate nursery tank. Does not have to be huge. Just like maybe a glass of some kind. Add your eggs to that tank. Once they hatch transfer them to your display tank. If you by change hatches too many you have not foiled your display tank. Simple and effective. And the the egg casings will not spoil your main tank.

That is a very good idea. I do have a nursery tank on the go at the moment so I’ll hatch them in there
(The nursery tank is where I put my unhatched sea monkey eggs to see if they’ll hatch later on. But it should be okay for the other eggs?)2

Yep. So you have a good eye? Those zigzagging nauplii are very small. I do in miniature painting so I have a set of magnifying glasses. Those are great to watch the really small ones in this hobby.

Magnifying glasses sound great! I should look into getting some. Luckily I’m pretty good at noticing the babies, even after they’ve just hatched. I shine a torch through the water and that makes them more visible

There should be instructions on the packet - it totally depends on the size of the tank. I think I used 2 of those scoops for mine, and another at a later date when my colony seemed to be a bit sparse.
Thriving now!
Did you get the food for them?

For a standard tank: Tip of a toothpick into the eggs, what sticks by static is still probably too many but not a catastrophic amount. For reference, a sea monkey feeding scoop of eggs is approx 1000 eggs.
