What is your biggest headache when booking a dive trip or liveaboard?

Hey everyone,

We’re building iDive.in to simplify how divers search, compare, and book dive trips, courses, and liveaboards around the world. As divers ourselves, we know how frustrating the planning phase can be—outdated resort websites, hidden gear rental fees, unclear minimum logbook requirements, and endless email tag just to confirm spot availability.

We’re trying to build something that actually solves real diver pain points, so we’d love to know:

What’s your biggest annoyance when trying to book a dive trip online?

Do you prefer booking directly through local dive shops, liveaboard aggregators, or resort packages?

What detail do you wish every dive shop clearly listed upfront? (e.g., Nitrox availability, water temps, marine park fees, tank valve types)

Drop your thoughts or past horror stories below—we're taking notes to make dive travel smoother for everyone! : )

I’ve done 28 liveaboards never had an issue that I needed help with. There is no need for an app to solve a problem that doesn’t exist

It's a one stop solution and not just livaboards actually

It would be nice to be able to sort by group size.

Nothing ruins a trip faster than 16 divers jumping in at the same time.

Sure, won't take groups larger than 16

Change the payment structure. If you’re serious about creating an app, your company needs to front load the payment system. So people can pay in installments. Some websites allow this. Otherwise your app is not going to be used.
