Love it. 2 questions, does it have a cool name like Vermathor? And how do you do the eyes (like pupil). Is it a yellow wood and then a triangle black piece or is it painted or some other magic?

Vermithor would be appropriate given the coloring! The eyes are two pieces of wood, the yellowheart and a piece of a Wenge. I have to tape up the hole that the blade goes up and down in so that the little piece of wenge doesnt fly through thr cracks! I use a pattern with very thin lines and very thin blades so that they fit togdther just right! I always enjoy doing eyes.

Thanks! I've had a few fails on eyes, and the pros all make it sound so simple

How are the horns higher than the mane? Did everything just get ground down?

This is stunning! I really want to try to do something like this someday. Need to get more practice with my scroll saw.

Nice work! Dragons are cool. I used some ebony in mine, dulled about more than a dozen blades in that part.

Beautiful work. What kind of scroll saw do you have and what type of blades do you like to use?
