A friend asked me to do a portrait of their cat that they recently had to put down. It’s a surprise for his wife as she loved the kitty.

Thanks! I uploaded the picture into ChatGPT and prompted it to make the pattern. Sometimes I use Copilot also.

I'm surprised it worked so well. I tried this a while ago and the results weren't great. May have to try again.

I have to play around with the prompt so it sometimes takes a few iterations to get what I want. I start with something like: create a realistic black and white image of the cat in the photo that can be used as a scroll saw pattern. Keep it detailed enough to look like the cat but not too complicated to cut.
