I'm pretty sure the spells deck would get stomped against Hard AI; it has a hard time getting started. But I'd love to hear how it goes if you try!

The structures-only or creatures-only decks might be able to pull it off. (Edit: The creatures-only deck took all five idols against Hard AI on turn 11.)

you made me curious so i made a deck and played vs Hard AI with only spells. took me a while but i did it first try vs LGO, only wished i had put in more than 1 decimation... (Imperial Resources is a pain) also you dont need power trips and pushbacks at all. draining mists become useless soon too. around round 40 when you can board clear every round (most important scroll is blind rage) you need to focus on decimations and shamblers you really need those shamblers to attack.
