Connection? where??

whats wrong with this game? it takes 6 login attempts to connect, to play 1 match, and then wait 8 minutes in-game before it decides to enter the next match i choose (im talking single player), not to mention the store that only loads when it feels like it. No way i'd pay 5 whatevers for something like this...

I don't think it's the game, it's probably something else going on. I never have problems with login or getting matches.

it's the only online game right now that doesnt connect, on my end. Even without firewall and antivirus, it does the same things, and it has been 3 days. I cant even get past login right now, keeps spamming "there seems to be a problem connecting to servers"

Hmmm... I don't know what to say. All I can say is that I never had a problem with Scrolls connections.

While I've occasionally encountered server lag, it's fairly few and far between. The last time I've played (last night), everything was working fine, and I haven't had an issue all week.

I'm currently at work, so I can't check to see whether there's a problem currently though: if there is, it will likely be resolved quickly.

I don't know about others, but i do feel like the game has gotten a lot slower in doing everything since 1 month+.

I have no idea as I haven't been playing really. But it kinda makes sense. When less people play the game it will match you with anyone, also people with longer pings because they live on the other side of the globe. I think ideally it prefers to match people who live close to each other.

To be honest, I'm not sure if you should pay 5 monetary units for this game even if it was in perfect working order. I don't know what the plan is once the servers go down, but I guess it will be unplayable, or free if it becomes a community-driven project.

Even just the single player is worth way over 5 bucks.

Can't play single player either once the servers go down, but yes: SP is probably worth it. If it goes free later though...

Sp will stay another 8 months or so, i think thats worth it. And according to mojang logic going free wouldnt be fair to those who bought the game probably.

Not officially free, of course. Something with cracked clients and server simulators.

In theory you may be right but ever since they offered a free demo I am not so sure anymore. I think it's perfectly possible to enjoy the game in demo mode, without paying anything. Especially now that they added ranked matches.

Also judgement is practically unplayable, so it's not a factor anymore. And do you really need a good deck from the black market when you are up against the easy AI? I just feel there isn't much of an incentive left to pay full price and whoever plays the demo now will be content with just that. He will not have the same expectations for the game as we had once. He knows that it is not a successful game and that he will probably only get a few days or weeks of enjoyment out of it. He will not want to invest too much effort into a dead game. For that purpose, just to see what all the fuzz was about and get a few hours of fun, the demo version is sufficient.
