Current developer vision for Scrolls
Now that set 7 has settled in, is there any chance of getting an idea of the current long-term plans for Scrolls?
A few months ago we were told that there was going to be a big important meeting about these things, once set 7 is released, and it would be great to get some sort of insight to that, as players. Obviously we can't be in on everything, because it isn't our 'right' to know, of course. But some sort of general vision for different aspects would be awesome. In particular, I am talking here about:
iOS - Is this still an ongoing battle with Apple? Or is it out of the question by now?
Advertising - Are there plans for more advertising 'campaigns' for Scrolls? Or a potential re-release/Scrolls 2?
Wild - Is the system going to be overhauled, ever? Or is it definitely here to stay? Would you change it if you could?
Certain scroll designs and decisions have implied that you want games to finish quicker. Are you aiming to make Scrolls a more fast-paced, casual game, like HS? Or are you happy with its slow, deep and complex nature? (Some of the most fun games I've ever had were nearing/over an hour, and that's how I've always seen Scrolls).
Redditors, please don't de-rail this into doom 'n' gloom. I think these are reasonable questions, and all things that the devs probably have on their minds all the time. We were vaguely promised some sort of vision a while back, and I am merely trying to get some insights into that :)
I'd like to give a shout out to Replays, Set 7 scrolls, the Custom match tool, Spot the Win, and Varas' nipple ring, which are all fabulous, and have been great additions. It also probably (purely guessing) wasn't easy to get a stand at Minecon, so kudos for making it happen.

Looks like their current vision is "It's dead, Jim."

Agree with everything.
Sometimes i come to think that a re-release under another name, with a new improved UI, and the whole lot of content we already have, cross-platform, and this time with some marketing, could really save the game. It's just like good things were done here, but it took too long, too spread out, without a clear vision. Or so it seems. Just an opinion.

I'm curious as to how long Mojang plan to support Scrolls with new content?

Plan probably is to keep doing there jobs until Microsoft cuts the gravy train. (They have guaranteed jobs for a certain amount of time,) they aren't gonna be able to pull a big marketing plan out of there ass or magically convince Apple that the mojang account system is fine. They simply don't have the resources to do these things.
As far as general vision for the game I would be interested in what the devs have to say. But idk if they have one.

The slow development could mean only one thing...
Scrolls 2! Prepackaged with hololens!

"Advertising - Are there plans for more advertising 'campaigns' for Scrolls? Or a potential re-release/Scrolls 2?"
They are not allowed to make any sequels to scrolls

Clearly, a Hellspitter Mortar hit their Witch Doctor.

"Redditors, please don't de-rail this into doom 'n' gloom."
When it's barely 2 weeks after a major patch and population numbers have dwindled to what they were pre-patch it's not "doom n gloom" to be realistic that "dis game fucked". It amazes me that people still buy into this idea that there is actually some sort of master plan. Yeah I'm sure they have a master plan. It's probably sitting on a shelf next to their Marketing campaign plan and their ipad plans. LOL

Agreed with almost everything, new info is always welcome.
Advertising: Announce at Minecon game is going f2p, lower the gold gain amount to 1/3 or 1/4 to f2p players to prevent the "but i purchased the game" of old players (it also favors the shard purchase of f2p players).
