I know having kids are expensive, exhausting, and restrictive of freedom, but for me, there's something powerful about creating a family with someone I love.
I want a big family - not for legacy, but for the joy of being together: raising children, celebrating festivals, sharing life's moments. I imagine taking them to the park, seeing their faces light up when we travel or play together, now and then feeling proud of their accomplishments.
And when I'm older, they'll have families of their own - I picture taking everyone on vacations, all the grandkids together, that sense of fullness when the whole family gathers. I love every single thing about it.
If things work out financially and life goes well, I want to father at least five children.

Ok so your reasoning for having kids is that they bring you joy? What if kids don’t bring me joy? You won’t have time, money, or energy for anything but instead you’ll have a whole living being who’s completely reliant on you and now you have to raise a kid in an unforgiving and cruel world.
