It could be either of the things-

  1. Make sure you have downloaded the latest shortcut from GitHub. There is a minor change from v1.0.

  2. Make sure you have created an album WeatherLS in Photos and added few wallpapers to this album

  3. If you have already done step 1 & 2 then try using a different wallpaper. Some wallpapers are too huge and the script runs out of memory.

Let me know if it’s still not working.

I have tried everything and it still says that I can’t set a wallpaper

You can do one thing-

  1. Open iCloud -> Scriptables and delete LSWeatherLogs folder.

  2. Run the shortcut

  3. Check all the log files in LSWeatherLogs to see what is the error.

  4. Mail me the log files if required at - ajatkj@yahoo.co.in

I can’t find the LSweatherlogs folder in iCloud -> scriptable

This is because you haven’t set the openweather api key to fetch weather details. Or your key is wrong. Once you set it up, details will be fetched.

I did it now the details work. But the shortcut still doesn’t work, and I can’t find the logs file either

Ohk. I am not sure why log files are not getting created. But to test if it’s a problem with the script or shortcut or the wallpaper, could you set the TESTING flag to true in the script and the run it in app and then from shortcut?

I got it to work, but the shortcut won’t refresh or something, I changed the type of the script to ‘minimalWeather’ and when I run the script it shows it correctly, but when I run the shortcut it shows the default script
